How to use templates?

Discover how to effortlessly create high-impact videos with Zebracat templates—designed to simplify your workflow and boost your marketing results.

What Are Templates?

Templates in video editing are pre-designed layouts that combine visuals, text animation, and styles so you don’t have to start from scratch. Zebracat’s templates help you create high-quality videos faster by handling the visual part for you.

🚀 How to Use Them – Step-by-Step:

1. Go to the Homepage

Once you're logged in, head to the Home page.
Scroll to the section called “Templates (Help to spark your creativity)” — this is where all templates live.

3. Input Your Video Idea

After selecting a template, you'll land in the “Prompt” step:
  • Paste your video idea or use one of the example prompts below the input box.
  • Example: “Tips for staying productive while working remotely.”

4. Configure Your Video Settings

On the Config step, personalize your video:
  • Video Ratio: Choose from 9:16 (TikTok, Reels), 1:1 (Instagram Feed), or 16:9 (YouTube).
  • Video Length: From 10 seconds to 5 minutes.
  • Voice Over: Choose male or female voices. Click “Change” to select from the available voices.
  • Music Mood: Pick a vibe like Energetic, Happy, or Serious.
  • Captions: Enable or disable them.
  • Brand Kit: If you've uploaded your logo or brand colors, apply them here.
💡 In Advanced Mode, you can even select your preferred voice style, turn off music, and choose more detailed settings.

5. Let AI Write Your Script

Zebracat will auto-generate 3 versions of your video script based on your prompt.
  • Pick one.
  • Make edits if needed.
  • Once you're happy with it, hit “Generate Video.”

🎬 And Done!

Your video will be rendered with all your settings—ready to preview, tweak, or download.
